I decided to join the fun at www.wescrap.com and do the DECEMBER DAILIES PROJECT!!!
The idea is to take a photo during the month of december and create a mini-album! Jacquelin is hosting this project and she has been giving us great advises, like:
1) Choose your album
It can be a binder, postbound or one made from scratch - but it needs to have a cover, a back and 31 pages ( one for each day!) . How you put your album together is really up to you -
I think the album will be more nice if we use a combo of pages from different chipboard, and acrylic pages as well as different sizes/types of page protectors.
--> I am going to alter an sturdy cardboard ring binder that I have been carrying around for a few months, I got it with an instruction manual that I no longer need and I want to recycle, size is aproximately 8"x7" and I am going to customize some baseball cards protectors to make them fit into the binder. I will use chipboard, acrylic and cardstock to do my pages!!!
2) Gather materials to embellish your pages, such as:
**Journaling pages and blocks;
**envelopes in various sizes and colours;
**tags of assorted sizes and colours;
**6 x 6 pages of various Christmas patterns or Cardstock;
**numbers (print them, use stamps, use chipboard or sticker numbers, your choice).
**other "found" items you think would be fun and or cool to use!
--> I am going to use supplies from my stash, lots of ribbon, journaling blocks, bows, glitter, rhinestones, fabric, etc.
3) Assembly or premade your album pages and then just focus in taking the photos and do the journaling every day or every other day or every weekend, depending on your activities!!!
This is a great chance to use some of those supplies we have been hoarding around for months or event years... OR if if you prefer a more tailored look, or a matching approach, a kit or collection from your favorite manufacturer is a good route to go!
Jacquelin is sharing FREE NUMBERTS TO DOWNLOAD, they are very pretty and free!!!
